After breakfast drive to the Periyar. On arrival transfer to hotel. Periyar an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. Lake Boat Ride:- Take a boat ride on Lake periyar . Located in side the Periyar Tiger Reserve, this is where the British Viceroys and Governor-Generals used to take time of from the world to listen to call of the wild, watch Elephant herds playing by the Lake side . Overnight in Periyar.
After breakfast, check out and leave to Alleppy by surface.
On arrival transfer to your private Kettuvallam (House Boat). Cruise start after Lunch on board. cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves.
Houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are luxurious boats with well-appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the coast that adds a touch of exotica to this experience. The locals’ travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Hotel in Kovalam. Day at Rest and overnight in Kovalam.
After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari 100 kms. Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India. It is at the tail point of India, where the three seas meet together. Enroute visiting Padnabhapuram palace - a wooden palace dating back to the 17th century. Visit Vivekananda rock memorial, Kanyakumari temple etc. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
